OUR
MISSION STATEMENT The
mission of Central United Methodist Church... is
to invite, welcome, and nurture all those who wish to grow in their
relationship to God, their love of others, and their commitment to serve
Christ by meeting human need.
We intend to nurture this growth through vital services of worship,
small groups of support, study, and prayer, as well as by providing
challenging opportunities to serve Christ by serving others in the church
and the world. Central
United Methodist Church... seeks
to communicate the ancient faith in a fresh way. Our worship service is
traditional yet celebrative and contemporary, welcoming children, and
adults of various cultures. Singles, couples, and people of all ages and
backgrounds all value the sense of closeness and family that is
experienced here. One
of the things we value most is acceptance. We accept people for who they are
and wherever they are on their journey of faith, without comparing them to
traditional standards. Our
